Hannoversche Kassen

The main task of the SFC, with its diverse range of members, was to come to an agreement – that is, to try and reach a consensus on the big issues of a sustainable financial system. Some of the stakeholders that came together for this purpose have been working for two decades towards achieving a sustainable financial market and could thus contribute a wide range of perspectives and expertise. It wasn’t always easy, as very different interests were being brought to the table and the computer screen. But whenever the interests behind the positions could be made transparent and the shared vision for a sustainable world was brought into focus, consensus was possible. Today I am very pleased and thankful about the outcome of the many discussions and votes. We laid the groundwork for shaping the sustainable transformation of our economy!
